Depending on the project, this may include space planning, floor plans, cabinetry design, lighting and electrical locations, plumbing fixture locations, material and finish selections, elevations, specifications, and construction drawings.
Planning these details in advance helps contractors price the work more accurately and reduces rushed decisions, costly changes, and uncertainty during construction.
This service is ideal for homeowners who have, or plan to hire, their own contractor but want the renovation professionally designed before construction begins.

This full-service approach combines complete interior design with ongoing leadership throughout construction, creating one connected process from the first design decisions through the completion of the renovation.
Indigo Day Designs develops the design plan, prepares the drawings and specifications, coordinates pricing with the contractor, and remains closely involved as the renovation moves forward. This may include contractor and trade coordination, reviewing bids, managing selections and procurement, answering design questions, resolving unexpected issues, monitoring progress, and helping ensure the finished work reflects the approved design.
With one clear point of leadership connecting the design and construction process, communication stays organized, decisions are made with the full vision in mind, and important details are less likely to be missed. I'll walk your project, review what's been done, and help you resolve the design questions in front of you — selections still to be made, changes to evaluate, contractor questions to answer, and the sequence of decisions still ahead. From there, we work together (or I work directly with your contractor) to keep the renovation on track.
You get a designer's eye on the project when you need it most — so the decisions made under pressure still reflect the home you set out to build.

Every project begins with a 90-minute in-home consultation. We walk through your home, talk honestly about what you want to change, and determine which level of service is the best fit for your renovation.
The initial consultation is $500, credited back to you if we move forward within 30 days.
You do not have to figure out the entire renovation on your own.
