How We Work

Luxury Whole-Home, Kitchen & Primary Suite Renovations in Castle Rock & Castle Pines

One studio, with a decade of running successful luxury projects, handling design, trades, and every detail in between.

Investing in a designer should provide you with clarity and peace of mind. Every project at Indigo Day Designs is built around one commitment: you make the decisions that matter, and we take complete ownership of the path to get there.

We choose to work with a limited number of families at a time. This allows us to give your home the dedicated focus and oversight required to protect your investment and your time.

The work falls into one of two paths:

Full-Service Design & Execution

For homeowners who want their vision brought to life without managing a single contractor call.

Most of our full-service projects are whole-home transformations, kitchen renovations, or primary suite remodels. Whatever the scope, we oversee the entire process — from design direction and materials to contractor coordination, scheduling, and final installation — so the only decisions on your plate are the ones that truly matter to you.

For every project, we guide the interior layouts and design drawings, curate all fixtures, finishes, and furnishings, manage procurement and installation, coordinate contractor selection and bid review, and oversee the project on-site from demolition through completion.

Minimum total project investment: $100,000 — design, furnishings, materials, and trade work combined. Most whole-home projects land between $200,000 and $500,000. Design fees are reviewed in detail during your Initial Consultation.

Design Direction & Build Oversight

For homeowners who already have their contractor or builder in place and need the design authority to make sure it's executed exactly right.

You've chosen your builder. What's missing is the design hand that translates good intentions into a finished home that looks — and feels — the way you imagined it. We produce the plans, specifications, and material direction your build team needs, source every fixture, finish, and furnishing, and stay actively engaged through construction so nothing gets lost between the drawings and the job site.

This is also the right path when a renovation has gone off course — finishes that aren't landing, selections that have stalled, a build moving forward without a cohesive design direction. We step in, assess, and reset.

Minimum design engagement: $25,000. Typical engagements run $40,000 to $85,000, depending on scope and duration.

The Indigo Day Process

1. The Initial Consultation. Ninety minutes in your home. We walk the space, discuss how you live, and confirm whether we're the right studio for your project.

2. Concept & Design Direction. We develop the full vision — spatial plans, material direction, and a cohesive design that guides every decision that follows. This is where the hardest thinking happens, before a single wall comes down.

3. Team Alignment & Budgeting. We finalize scope, timeline, and budget with your build team — whether that's our trusted trade network or contractors you've already selected. Everyone aligned before work begins.

4. On-Site Advocacy & Project Management. Our lead designer stays actively on site and in every contractor conversation — protecting the design intent, solving problems before they become expensive, and keeping the project on schedule.

5. The Finished Reveal. A final walkthrough of your fully realized home — styled, installed, and ready to live in. No loose ends. Just the home you imagined, executed exactly as it was designed.

The Right Project for Indigo Day

Full-service is for the homeowner with the vision, the standards, and the budget — who wants the renovation to fit into their life, not consume it.

The Initial Consultation

Every project we take on starts with an in-home Initial Consultation, $500, credited toward your project if we move forward within 30 days. We charge for it because the conversation is real work, not a sales call.

Ninety minutes. We walk your home, talk through what you're hoping to build, and tell you honestly what we'd do.
