My Story
From my own home to yours …
My path into design began unexpectedly. After a career in sales, I stepped away shortly after my daughter was born and began renovating our home in Los Angeles. It sold quickly, and for a significant profit. So did the next home I renovated. That's when I realized how much I loved this work, and that I had a real eye for adding value to a home. Soon, friends, neighbors and friends of friends were asking for help with theirs.
When we moved to Colorado in 2017, I began designing renovations here. At first I only designed, handing each plan to a builder. But I kept watching beautiful designs lose their way during construction, because no one was there to protect the plan.
So I built Indigo Day Designs to do both: design the whole home first, then lead it through construction. Because I started as the homeowner, I've never forgotten how much rides on every decision.

Every layout, selection, and specification is finished before construction is priced, so you see what your home will look like and what it will cost before the first wall comes down.
You'll always know who to call.
Me. I'm your point of contact from the first meeting to the final walkthrough. Behind me, a dedicated team handles documentation, ordering, scheduling, and site coordination, so even large, complex projects get senior attention.
Your design is protected.
During construction, we bring in the builders and trades, order and track your materials, schedule the work, review invoices against your budget, and check the work on site every week, so the home you approved is the home that gets built.
My only interest is yours.
I don't sell construction. My job is to protect your design, your budget, and your timeline, working with trades I've trusted for years.

Indigo Day Designs is an interior design and renovation studio based in Castle Rock, Colorado, founded and led by Jane Norris. The studio designs each home completely before construction begins, then manages the renovation to completion. It serves Castle Rock, Castle Pines, Parker, Littleton, Lone Tree, and Highlands Ranch, and mountain homes in Winter Park and Granby Ranch. Jane Norris has guided more than 100 renovations and more than $18 million in renovation budgets over more than 10 years. Fees are fixed and never a percentage of the construction budget.
