I’m Jane Norris, founder and principal designer of Indigo Day Designs. For more than 10 years, I’ve worked alongside builders to create thoughtfully designed homes and a more organized, collaborative renovation experience.
I understand that a successful project requires more than a beautiful design. It requires clear decisions, detailed documentation, timely communication, and a team that respects one another’s expertise.
My role is to lead the design process, prepare the client before construction begins, and remain actively involved as the project moves forward. When design questions arise in the field, I provide clear direction so the builder can keep building, the client feels supported, and the original vision remains intact.

Before construction begins, we work closely with homeowners to develop a comprehensive design plan — space planning, cabinetry, lighting, finishes, fixtures, and material selections. We guide clients through the hundreds of decisions required before construction starts, and coordinate specifications and procurement early.
